Marilyne Baril receives the 2025 Business Person-Entrepreneur of the Year award

We are pleased to announce some great news: Marilyne Baril, founder and designer of Marigold, has been named Business Personality of the Year 2025 in the Entrepreneur category by the Réseau Affaires Verdun.

This distinction was awarded at the annual gala, which brought together more than 150 members of the Verdun community at Quai 5160 on November 5. The event, which this year was part of the celebrations for Verdun's 150th anniversary, highlighted personalities, organizations, and initiatives whose positive impact contributes to the dynamism and reputation of the borough.

This moment was particularly touching, especially as Marilyne received her award alongside her daughter Simone, a symbol of the values that drive her: excellence, kindness, transparency, and creativity.

This award not only recognizes the creative work behind Marigold but also Marilyne’s commitment to Verdun: promoting local businesses, encouraging responsible fashion, creating a space where people feel good, seen, and welcomed, and above all contributing to the economic development of the neighborhood.

This distinction inspires us to continue pushing further: creating durable clothing, valuing local expertise, and making fashion a vector for connection and community.
