Our transparent pricing labels
At Marigold, we advocate for transparency, and our labels play a crucial role in this endeavor. Our labels do more than just indicate the cost of items; they also tell the story behind each garment and allow you to fully understand the impact of your purchase.
This enables you to see the costs associated with ethical production, local manufacturing, and the use of environmentally friendly materials.
With these transparent prices, we also aim to raise awareness about eco-responsible practices and more conscious and engaged consumption.
Less is more.
All our products are made in small batches to limit overproduction. Generally, we produce between 80 and 90 units per product.
We also try to plan our quantities in advance to avoid waste.
We also prioritize on-demand production and custom-made items to avoid overproduction.
Lifetime warranty
We ensure the durability of all our garments: we offer a 1-year warranty if the seams break or the buttons fall off. That's the advantage we have as a small workshop.
Zero waste policy on fabric scraps
We reuse our fabric scraps to make unique, limited-edition pieces or small accessories like scrunchies.
We offer them to companies that use them to create small accessories, such as Unel Design, which makes hot water bottles.
Some fabric scraps are also sold at low prices to students and home sewers during mega sales, so as never to throw away or waste textiles, a highly polluting industry today.
Education
In addition to encouraging our customers and our community to consume locally and thoughtfully, we are committed to communicating about this.
Marilyne Baril is a professor at LaSalle College and frequently gives talks to raise awareness about local and ethical fashion.
On our social media, our "Let's Talk About It with Marilyne" capsule series has an educational purpose on slow fashion.
