Marilyne Baril, named personality of the month for April by the RAV

This month, we have the immense joy of sharing some wonderful news: Marilyne, our founder, has been elected personality of the month by the RAV, Verdun Business Network!

This recognition highlights our entire mission: to create local, ethical, and humane fashion, with complete transparency. From our boutique-workshop on Wellington Street, we carefully design each garment, valuing each person who contributes to its creation. This is why our labels tell a story—not only that of the garment, but also that of the hands that crafted it.

With her 5-month-old daughter Simone in her arms, Marilyne welcomed the RAV team for a gentle interview. This intimate moment provided an opportunity to reflect on her beginnings, the inspiration she received from her hat-making grandmother, and our shared commitment to responsible production, right here in Montreal.

Today, we're proud to be an all-female team united by the same values ​​of authenticity and respect. And that's just the beginning! We've got a nice surprise in store for Verdun's 150th anniversary this summer... a fashion show on the Well is in the works...
