Spring is finally back, and with it the desire for renewal, wonderful discoveries, and inspiring local fashion.

From April 23 to 25, Marigold opens its doors for its Spring Collective Sale, three days to celebrate Quebec creativity and meet passionate, committed, and talented brands.

On the program: clothing, accessories, unique creations, and a warm atmosphere in the heart of Verdun.

The designers present at this event:

Mercedes Morin

Founded in 2016, Mercedes Morin is a Montreal-based clothing and accessories brand entirely designed and manufactured in Quebec. A graduate in textile design and fashion design, the designer has been developing for several years a universe where femininity, local savoir-faire, and attention to detail meet.

Her collections explore a subtle balance between nostalgia and modernity. They feature clean lines, romantic touches, enveloping textures, and an aesthetic that is both soft and assertive. Inspired by her childhood spent in her mother's costume workshop, Mercedes Morin creates timeless pieces that tell a story and transcend seasons.

The brand is also known for its carefully designed trousers that flatter the silhouette while remaining comfortable for everyday wear. Each garment reflects a sustainable and ethical approach, conceived for those seeking beloved pieces to wear for a long time.

Valérie C

Founded by Quebec designer, Valerie C is a brand that celebrates a modern, elegant, and natural femininity. After more than ten years of experience in the fashion industry between Quebec, Montreal, and Paris, the designer launched her own brand with the desire to offer a more conscious fashion, aligned with her values, and oriented towards more thoughtful consumption.

The brand is distinguished by its "effortless luxury" universe: clothes designed to offer absolute comfort, quality materials, and flattering cuts, while maintaining a refined and timeless appeal. Valerie C seeks a balance between trend and durability, creating pieces that are easy to wear daily and designed to accompany women through the seasons.

Committed to a local and responsible approach, the brand designs and manufactures its collections in Quebec, favoring certified natural fibers or deadstock fabrics, and promoting smaller-scale production. A great discovery for those looking for elegant, well-designed, and durable clothing

DorsaLi

Founded in Montreal by designer Dorsa Babaei, DorsaLi offers a refined and contemporary vision of responsible fashion. The brand creates timeless clothing designed to accompany everyday life with elegance, comfort, and simplicity. Each collection highlights modern silhouettes, easy to wear, and designed to transcend seasons without following ephemeral trends.

DorsaLi's universe is based on local craftsmanship and small-batch production carried out in Canada. The brand prioritizes quality natural fibers, carefully sourced in Europe and Japan, such as linen, cotton, or other responsible materials. This attention to fabrics and finishes is reflected in every piece, designed to last both in style and in craftsmanship.

What particularly distinguishes DorsaLi is its balance between minimalism, sophistication, and environmental consciousness. The brand encourages consuming differently: less, but better, by investing in durable, versatile, and deeply elegant clothing. A wonderful discovery for those looking for a modern, responsible, and timeless wardrobe.

S.J CrawFord

S.J Crawford is a Montreal-based brand of handmade jewelry that showcases delicate and timeless craftsmanship. Each creation is made of sterling silver or gold, with particular attention to details, textures, and the finesse of the work. The brand develops an elegant, sensitive, and authentic universe, where each piece is designed to be worn for a long time.

S.J Crawford jewelry stands out for its ability to transcend trends while retaining a true personality. Minimalist or more assertive, the creations always add a subtle and refined touch to everyday life. These are pieces chosen as much for their beauty as for their manufacturing quality.

The brand also offers custom creations, demonstrating a privileged connection with its clientele and a deeply human approach to artisan jewelry. A great discovery for those looking for local jewelry, made with passion and designed to last.

Atelier 1er Mai

Atelier 1er Mai is a committed Montreal brand that explores clothing as a true means of expression, at the crossroads of identity, history, and culture. Founded by designer Ysaline Lannes, the brand develops a strong and singular universe, inspired by workwear, uniforms, and counter-cultures, through modern and often unisex silhouettes.

Each piece is designed and entirely manufactured in Montreal, with an artisanal and responsible approach. Atelier 1er Mai favors upcycling, transforming existing materials; recycled fabrics, second-hand clothing, or deadstock to give them a new life. This approach is accompanied by meticulous work, integrating various artisanal techniques such as patchwork, embroidery, or weaving.

Atelier 1er Mai's creations are distinguished by their graphic, functional, and durable character. Designed with slow fashion in mind and often produced in small quantities or on order, they encourage more conscious and thoughtful consumption. A strong and inspiring brand, for those looking for unique, local, and meaningful pieces.
