MARILYNE BARIL NOMINATED IN TWO MMODE GALA CATEGORIES

This year, the Mmode Gala celebrates its third edition, showcasing up-and-coming fashion talent and Quebec know-how through 16 awards in various categories. Designer Marilyne Baril won the Local Fashion Outreach Award in 2021. For 2023, she is doubly nominated, competing for the distinctions of "Best Employer of the Year" and "Development of the American women's ready-to-wear market".


The "Best Employer of the Year" nomination is of great importance to the designer, who is committed to cultivating a dynamic work environment focused on caring and team spirit. At Marigold, five women work together in an atmosphere of good humor, respect and creativity, reflecting Marilyne Baril's conviction that well-being in the workplace is essential to the overall health of the company.


Her second nomination, for "Development of the US women's ready-to-wear market", testifies to her ambition to expand into neighboring countries. Marigold, already a supplier in the United States, sees this growing expansion as an opportunity. Although Marilyne Baril has no intention of transforming her company into a multinational, she plans to deepen her commitment to the US market in the near future.
